Robert L. Chron, 90, a resident here the past 61 years, died at 4:20 PM, Wednesday in a Sikeston nursing home.
He was born January 31, 1868 in Marion, KY, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isom Chron, and was a retired farmer. His wife, Mrs. Emma Jane Chron, preceded him in death in 1949.
Surviving are a son, W.R. Chron of Charleston, a daughter, Mrs. Porter Webb of East Gary, Ind: four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at McMikle Funeral Chapel here until time for services which will be conducted at 2 PM Friday in the McMikle Funeral Chapel by Rev. Marion Holloway, assisted by the Rev. Dan Bryson. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
