My father was Marvin Cron, son of Ernest Cron. We used to attend a Cron Family picnic every summer. For some reason we stopped attending about 50 years ago. These reunions would take place at Firestone Park in California. The elder Cron would read our history for all to hear. I would love to reconnect.

My great grandmother was Maxine Brewster, maiden name Cron. Traced it back to Nicklos. I'm relatively sure the name Cron is of Hebrew descent, or Jewish if you prefer, at it's earliest point. This is a result of the Dispora (Israel being scattered to the four winds). Many of them ended of in Germany which is where we find Nicklos. God bless you all!

It's a long story, how I ended up at Muldoon Road on a revival night in April 1976. JJ Jansky picked me up at the Holiday Inn at 4th & C, and brought me to church. The most memorable moment was after the revival, with a huge crowd of people making their way out through the narthax, I heard a woman call, "You! You're new here!" I looked up the stairs and saw a woman pointing at me. That's when I met June Chron.

Hello everyone, I'm related to the Crons on my mother's side. Esom Cron was my Great-great-great-great Grandfather. He was a son of Fergus', who was Nicklos' son. Esom had a son named John Wesley Cron(b.1844), who is missing from the rootsweb family tree, but here is a link making the connection: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/19448966/john-wesley-cron I'm dying to find out more about Nicklos, or could it be, Nicholas? There's a book by Robert E. Wilson called 'The Groves and related families : Barnhart, Conrad, Croan, Groves, Here, Paulus'. In it, it mentions a "Nicholas Cron, who arrived in 1727, died in Philadelphia. Nothing more is known, but he...", and that's all I could access at the time.

Hello, I am Jeremy Crone, My family line goes like this I believe: Hans Simon Cron b. 1647, David Cron, Simon Jacob Cron, Johann Phillip Cron, George Matthew Crone, George Umphrey Crone, Thomas Brooks Crone Sr, TB jr Crone, Tommy Crone (my father) and me. I have traced them back to Staudernheim, Germany which is very close to Alsace Lorraine. Can we be related?

Margaret Cron Graham from Piqua Ohio was my 2nd GGM. Her father was Jacob Cron, as I understand it-from New Jersey but I am not sure of this and died in Miami, Ohio. His dad was John Cron (1730-1783) from Ellerstadt, Germany. and died in York, Pennsylvania. His father was Johannes Konrad Krohn,my 5th GGF who also died in York, PA. Simon was his dad, from 1692 Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany (my 6th GGF). That is the farthest back I go with my Krohn/Cron family.

It's been 48 years since we first encountered Virgil as pastor of MBC. 1968-71 were the huge building years of this church...He had so much energy & leadership skills. Those years were jam packed with Spirital growth and. Family fun.. He was like a father to me.

I had to opportunity to stay with Bro. Virgil and Ms June a couple of weeks when I was in high school and what a joy. I was actually born at Elmendord AFB in 1963. And my parents were also charter members of Muldoon and also at Eagle River as well. I grew up with my parents (Elmore and Rubye Bunch)often talking "Very Highly" of Virgil and his Brother EC. To the family "may your memories become sweeter and the pain becomes less" as knowing one day it will be a big family reunion. God Bless.
